This has been a terrible year for Haiti. For many years I have worked in Haiti and the Dominican Republic building schools, assisting orphanages, documenting Human Trafficking and child slavery for Human Rights organizations, teaching science and English and providing education to neglected and homeless children, partnering in microloan projects, for poor women, visiting hospitals and jails where disease and injustice show their ugly heads, and assisting children and their mothers who suffer from AIDS.
Our third school has just opened in Haiti. A well and latrine still need to be build and more classrooms but 20 orphans have a school.
By next year we should have four classrooms. Much of this was financed by a group from Holland. I have been managing all of this from China. The internet allows us to do things we could have never dreamed.
