Haircut

Now admittedly I do not have much hair to cut. In fact I should get my haircut for half price but at $1 for a haircut I cannot complain.

In almost every country I have lived in I have had a haircut. This kind of experience reveals much about the culture. China is a culture of hospitality. I was weclmed, assisted with my things and then seated. The lady asked me if I was an American and how I wanted my haircut. I managed a to understand the questions and answer in Chinese. It was my first real conversation in Chinese I am proud to say.

The haircut was a very pleasant experience. She washed my hair both before and after the haircut, massaged my head, and thoroughly dried my head each time.
