Cathy, our academic dean got married this weekend. It was lovely and the meal was one of the finest I have ever consumed. On the menu was eel with hot peppers, pork marinated in ginger sauce, trout, and lotus root so exqusite that I wonder how I have missed this delicacy for so many years.
The wedding was attended by about 300 guests including university officials, students, family and friends. It was like a hollywood award dinner with professional announcers, music, and champaigne bubble machine.
